OL Bryce Givens

I've heard that in response to UT lossing two tackles, Mack is looking for replacement and may have contacted Bryce. Bryce might be looking to schedule a visit to Austin.

i dont think that he would decommitt. I have read in articles that he is happy with the direction the recruiting is going and wants to be part of a dominate line that NU is building.

 
I think our chances dropped with him to 50-50 at best. He was wanting the Texas offer earlier but they turned him away. Now they have room and a schollie.

 
He should closely examine why the two walked away from Texas. Their 2007 class was the cream of the Texas O-line crop therefore among the best of the nation as well. His future looks brighter with an N on his helmet.

 
I don't like to say this but if he decommits (im not saying he will) I'd rather have a kid like jimmy miller who from what Ive heard is dieing to be here

Very good point, but I think that it was the one school that was absolute favorite and when they said they didnt have room for him , he chose us.

This looks bleak. But its very early, would could actually end up with someone better although he tore his Nike camp up recently. Thus the Texas offer.

 
maybe NU needs to go ahead and offer Jimmy Miller and get him to commit. He is a team mate of Bryce and then they can keep them both

I agree. I dont think it would be hard to find someone to fit the bill considering who they will have around them.
