OL Curtis Bailey

Knock about 50 lbs off this guy, get his 40 time down an few tenths, and he could be a heck of a player :thumbs
He's not a great player now for his age?
Im not saying hes not good, just seems overweight and slow, needs to get into shape.
So we are to believe the guys who do this for a living gave him 4 stars for being overweight and slow? Get real. Obviously you haven't seen game film on him, otherwise you would know he is far from being slow. This guy to the untrained eye like yourself might seem slow and overweight, but he's far from it. He reminds of of former Chicago Bear lineman Bob "The Beast" Sapp.
Untrained eye, like those of the supposed recruiting experts?? You know, recruiting experts who are like weathermen, as in they are constantly wrong, yet brag about the few times they are right.

There is a reason why these "experts" are not "coaches" much like yourself. :dumdum
How are coaches anymore right than recruiting 'experts'? They look at the same tape, analyze the same things and develop thoughts on the certain recruit. The difference with a recruiting expert is they are not into the X's and O's of the game.

Coaches whiff just as much if not more than the recruiting experts. The recruit-niks are bound to miss in their assumptions of the tens of thousands of HS seniors and JUCO players across the whole country, don't you think?

In any case, a 5.2 forty for someone of Bailey's size and stature is EXTREMELY fast. Where you are getting most OL run 5.0 forty yard dashes I would like to know.

In any case, this is a new day and age in Husker football, so we are not recuriting the same type of players. So your point about past players is moot at best. But if you want to discount a highly touted lineman because of a 40 time, be my guest. But how many times do you see a lineman running 40 yards? Show me their 10 yard dash, shuttle time and quickness in the feet. That is where a lineman is made, not in a 40 time or any amount of weight.
Again you do see who your trying to make a point too dont you? This guy just argues to argue. Hell you tell em the sky is blue he will argue that it's not.

A 5.2 40 is quite fast.
I remember when NU had a good offensive scheme, the OLs were about 290-310 and all ran 40's in the 5.0 range.

Compared to them 5.2 is pretty slow.
I will argue you until the end of time that 5.2 is not slow.....I am not arguing recruiting at all, but you insist you know what you are talking about, and you don't. Actually most likely these numbers are fudged like most of the numbers on any board.
Actually I'm not going to argue anymore more because I hope Bailey commits so we can swing this topic the right way.

NH, bit uncalled for to attack his family.

I agree with what you're trying to say that he is a flamer, but to attack his family? C'mon man, grow up.

Stick to what you know (which is no suprise nothing) and leave recruiting to people who understand recruiting (yes like myself). Don't even try to play on the same level as me when it comes to recruiting because i will make you feel like a baby cleaning up his own diaper after he sh#t himself.

Dude you are pathetic. Do you seriously get off when you try to piss people off? I don't care if this gives me a strike or warning, but you are a pathetic excuse for a human being and a waste of life molecules. If the mods can't see you are posting just to piss people off, then that's just sad. You need to get a life (god help your wife and children if you have any)
Wow, you are such a classy individual. :dumdum Next time you want to attack me, take it to the Woodshed where it belongs.

As far as recruiting, you claim to know all of these recruits and talk to them, whatever. Like I said, you're wrong as much as you are right. BTW, Im not a self proclaimed "recruiting guru."

IMO and according to the once great NU OLs we had, they were mobile. I know that playing OL and pass blocking, you dont have to be as mobile as a OL that pulls on running plays.

Something I don't understand...
why remove his post, but them quote what you removed in yours? LOL
formerfan didn't move ######'s post - that was done by the Moderators. formerfan quoted ###### before ######'s post was moved. When a post is moved, any subsequent posts that quote the "moved" post don't automatically move the quote.
