Omaha bars open til 2?

State lawmakers voted 33-10 to approve a 2:00 am last call for Omaha bars. Interestingly, Omaha is the only top 50 city (I assume they mean population) that still has a 1:00 am closing time.

Don't get too excited though, it still has to pass a supermajority in the city council vote.

You got that right. They need to make it state-wide and get caught up with the times. There are a lot of people out here that try to make it to Wyoming after last call.

Same here. People in east Omaha will sometimes go over to Iowa after last call.
