I was at the game. Incredible basketball. Some of the best this state has put on the floor.

So, Central is obviously producing some very good basketball and CSU I see is in the top 25 with several Nebraska players.

Can we at least say that there is some talent in the state as far as basketball goes?

It was Akoy and Thurman. Not sure what the PLV player was thinking. Assuming he didn't want to give up a dunk. Not the way to go about it though.

As a Central family alum and father of 2 Central athletes and a wife that graduated from Central, it could have got ugly. Akoy did what all Nebraskan's thought about Central, a bunch of thugs and came close to lowering himself to the PLV level (one son played baseball and Papio fans are the worst). They, NSAA moved the game up because they were worryied about "Gang activity" related to Omaha schools. The hit was clean, he had too foul and Akoy AND the team showed great restraint. Congrats to The Omaha Central Eagles on another championship and to Papio LaVista for not giving up.
