Clicked on an OWH article this mornign and got this paywall message. How long has the OWH had a paywall in place? This is the first time I've been stymied trying to read an article. (I guess I haven't gone over the 20-free-articles-per-month limit before.) Oh well, it's their content. I guess they can do with it as they please.

I'll just have to go back to getting all my current events news from legitimate news sources. Like The Onion.

I'm not sure either but it's been at least a couple months now. I used to go there every day but since they put that in place, I now only go when someone links to an article that seems interesting.

Luckily for them, it's not like people don't have other choices ... er, wait ...

I haven't been on Omaha.com since I discovered the news source that is HuskerBoard

But it's nice to see newspapers are trying different ways to survive rather than free T-shirts at the Peach Festival

I don't like it, but they need to make money somehow.

I would imagine all newspapers will be online-only and subscription-only in a decade or so. I know I personally haven't picked up a hard copy of a newspaper in many years, and likely never will again. It'll be interesting to see if these news sources survive as the internet ages.

#5– Do NOT Copy & Paste Original Content from Other SitesAt no times should content be copied and pasted on HuskerBoard without citing the source or linking directly to the content. Exclusive content provided by services such as Rivals and Scout should NEVER be copied and posted on HuskerBoard, even if you own a membership. Material on these sites that is NOT in the membership section can be posted only if you cite the source - or you may link directly to the content.
Hmmmmmmm. As long as I don't look at more than 20 posts with OWH links, I am OK?

That'll work. And if you slip up and read more than 20 posts with OWH content, then just erase the earlier posts from your frontal lobe. Much like deleting the cookies from your browser.

This happened to me. All you do is once the article is about to finish loading (or until you can see all the words in the artcle), hit the stop button on your address bar. If you use Firefox, it should be an "X" sign to the right of your star on the address bar.
