AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Two weeks into the college football season and many teams are fighting to hold their high positions in the polls. The shocking James Madison over Virginia Tech upset has again proved that anything can happen and fans are looking twice at games previously thought to be guaranteed wins. TicketCity has this week’s Top 25 games of the season, which shows the most anticipated games and matchups as indicated by ticket sales, prices, customer inquiries, and searches on TicketCity.com.
The September 18th Nebraska vs. Washington game is in high demand with Nebraska riding high from their win over Idaho, their first real test of the season will be this weekend’s game. Said to be one of the best quarterbacks in the country, Jake Locker should prove a worthy opponent against the powerful Husker’s defense. This game will set the tone for the Husker’s season as loyal fans believe their ranking will continue to rise. Fan curiosity is obvious in the ticket sales as average ticket prices are $307. TicketCity currently offers tickets starting at $150.

It would be nice if there was one place that averaged all of these sites, but they each keep their own individual stats. I'd like to know how many of these tickets are changing hands.

On that blurb from StubHub they said that the majority of people buying tickets were Washington fans, 2-1 over Husker fans. How do they know that? Is it based on location, or do they ask you when you buy the ticket? If it's based on location I wouldn't presume the people buying them up there are Washington fans. We have a lot of fans up there, too.
