Open letter to the team

Redux

Assistant Coach
You have a tremendous opportunity ahead of you. A chance to make a statement and catch the attention of the college footbal world. You are in contol of your own destiny, and only you can stop yourselves. Tomorrow you get the task of knocking off Michigan in the Big House.

Has the season been plentiful and rewarding thus far? Not really. But who cares? Does it matter that youre 6-2? No. It doesnt matter if youre 8-0 or 0-8. Do you think Michigan cares abiut your record? Hardly, they have lost two as well and have probably given up on the season since losing to MSU. They probably are more focused on eating OSU than you tomorrow. Does that mean you should stroll in unprepared? Not a chance. You need to prepare for every game like its the freaking Super Bowl. This place will not be forgiving.

Their fans are alot like your own. Dissapointed and mad. They will be loud and intimidating. You will have a young QB to protect. Everyone needs to play this game to your full potential if you expect to earn this win. If you want to play without passion, dont even get off the bus. You better roll into Ann Arbor ready to play like gods. Punch em in the mouth early, and often. Take their crowd out of it, act like you own the place because thats what theyd do to you. This is a team that doesnt respect you. Make them.

Use last weeks momentum and make sure the Big House remembers its first loss under Brady Hoke. Make these bastards thank god they arent going to have to play you every year. This is the fork in the road of your season. Either veer off into the ditch and give up because of injuries or bad calls or mistakes. Or take the high road, play like wild beasts, run them over, take their very will to cintinue away from them. This is judgement day and you are the reaper. Pound some respect into this team and make them remember Nebraska. GO BIG RED!

Do you not read these boards and see how many dissapointed and mad fans post here every day. have you not read the posts that people are posting about the BEST FANS IN THE WORLD are yelling at their head coach on the sideline while talking to his players. They sound just like the Michigan fans you are trying to describe.

Damn I am blind.. I read not like your own.. You are very right.

You should have necoprosted an old thread to write this letter. 2/10, with the 2 coming only because you used paragraphs.

My wife, who is a Para Teacher, just told me that today in school, my 7 yr old and his classmates were learning about various animals and when it got to his turn, he named the Wolverines and proceeded to tell the teacher that they are from Michigan and that we are playing them in football. The teacher, who is of lenghty age, said that Wolverines are from all over up North and even live in Russia and Alaska. My wife said that my son told her she was wrong and that they are from Michigan only.
