Nebraska is scheduled to play 11 consecutive games away from Lincoln to start the year. The Huskers visit Riverside, Calif. (Feb. 15-17), Surprise, Ariz. (Feb. 21-24) and Frisco, Texas (March 1-3) before NU’s home opener on March 5.
The last time the Huskers opened the season at home was 1990, when Nebraska hosted Kearney on Feb. 11 at Buck Beltzer Stadium.

Nebraska split a two-game series with UC Riverside last year in Tempe, winning Friday's game 8-3, but losing Saturday's game 1-8.
UC Riverside finished last in the Big West coming in at 7-17 in the Big West and 19-33 overall.
Their hitting and homerun leader Connor Cannon (10) (.282 avg) is also a pitcher.
Cole Percival was their leading pitcher with 5 wins, 4 losses, 3.20 ERA, 87.1 IP, 79 H, 31 ER, 15 BB, 63 Ks.
