I like Oregon's uniforms because they are the only Nike uniforms that aren't templated out and given to teams to just fill in the colors.

I disagree Vince, I think the uni's are an upgrade from last years.I actually love this helmet...They just get more and more crazy...
That helmet is cool but the uni's are just plain ugly. One can't design anything as ugly as those by mistake. It has to be intentional.
Uni's that look like 12 day old road kill is an upgrade over last years uni's. Besides, I never said they were uglier than last years uni's. What I did say, is the new uni's are just plain ugly. Which is true.

That's why Oregon is nothing more than a third rate wannabe quack 10 program. I mean seriously, could you imagine USC, Nebraska, Oklahoma and other storied football programs changing their uniforms on a whim like those feather-brained looneys from Eugene? There'd be mass revolt, blood in the streets and a lynch mob, complete with torches and pitch forks, coming for the AD.
You know if Oregon put half the effort into playing their games on Saturday as they do in changing their uniforms then maybe they'd be better than than their usual 6-6 record. Morons.

:yeah The helmet is the only part of the uniforms I like, the actual jerseys themselves are ridiculous. Seriously guys, wings? They couldn't look less intimidating if they co opted Hawaii's old "rainbow warriors" logo.Same here. Sort of has that carbon fiber look to it.I actually love this helmet...They just get more and more crazy...
Why does Oregon need both an all black and a silver/white combo uniform anyway? There is no green OR yellow in either of them! The Oregon FB team has become nothing but a walking, talking Nike ad. And the worst part is, they still haven't had a decent looking uni since 2001!

I know it's popular opinion to hate the Oregon uniforms, particularly from fans of tradition-rich programs like Nebraska. But I actually loved the Lights Out look last year against Arizona, which is basically the all-black pictured above. And I think a lot of the combinations actually look really sweet. I wouldn't want Nebraska changing their uniforms like that, because the classic helmet and uniform design is part of what makes Nebraska great. But that doesn't mean Oregon has to do it our way too. Like a couple people already said, they have developed a tradition of being on the cutting edge in uniform design, both aesthetically and performance-wise.
If you watched the press conference, you saw a slide show of renders of many of the uniform combinations (there are 80 total) and what they would look like, and many of them look awesome, IMO. The steel helmet with the yellow top and steel pants might be my favorite. Steel-Green-Steel is also nice.
