Oregon & Washington to the B1G - Clemson & Florida State Next?

Good to see this possibly not happening.  There was never any real reason to add Oregon and Washington besides "I guess they're available at a discounted price".  It's not the B1G's job to send lifeboats to schools.

What exactly do the B1G schools gain from adding them?  A close-ish travel partner for the So Cal schools?  It's still over a 2 hour flight from LAX to the PNW, only hour or so shorter than flying to LNK or MSP.

I hope all those schools go down with the sinking ship.  The PAC-12 will certainly be in a better position bc of keeping those schools but if the tv deal sours out and doesn't bring in much revenue then what???

That's a huge risk bc one doesn't know how much the tv deal is going to generate yearly.  So if you lose a lot of money during the first year can you only imagine how much your going to lose in 3.

I say take Washington (for sports/TV market) & Stanford (for academics) at a discounted price and leave Oregon and their ugly a$$ uniforms and Phil Knight money to wither on the Pac12 vine.
