Oregon & Washington to the B1G - Clemson & Florida State Next?

The Big 10 has made the entire process easier for the Pac-12 schools involved. Sources indicate that there will be an expansion meeting on Wednesday night and a handful of schools will be discussed. Oregon and Washington are the top priorities, and although Stanford and Cal have been mentioned, sources have told us they aren’t necessarily the top choice. Expect the Big 10 to make another strong run at Notre Dame and to move on to ACC schools as well. Virginia, North Carolina, and Florida State have been mentioned as three of the schools that will be discussed. The Big 10 process could move faster than people expected due in large part to the fact that some of these schools have already been vetted by the conference.

i just find it comical that during the last round of expansion all we heard was mandatory package deals. No Washington without Wash State, no Oregon without Oregon State, etc. Now that things are getting serious I don't hear a peep. Weird how that works...

Washington's Board of Regents meets today. The offer from Apple ends tomorrow.

Announcements coming Monday?

Word is the B1G doesn't want to make the next move.  Basically to be seen as dismantling the Pac-12 all by itself.  They want a couple more teams to announce leaving the Pac-12 for somewhere else before officially offering anyone else to leave.

From the sounds of it, the first part of that could be happening today or tomorrow.

So if teams do announce they are leaving like FSU what are the chances the B1G does add them?  Bc you would think the SEC would want to add the Florida teams and not us.
