For the record, since Junior is not coming back for a while, Robert Benford is a sociology professor who taught at UNL in the 90s. He has long been known for VERY much enjoying his perch atop his ivory tower, and for despising all things athletic and/or non-academic in the education realm.

He got his PhD at the University of Texas.
