Osborne - Nebraska/Oklahoma agreement "in principle" reached

Under no circumstances should we play Colorado. We don't need that game as much as they do. Do you know how hard it is for Colorado to get national attention? They would have to pay us an exorbitant sum of money for it to even be worthwhile. They're scum. Oklahoma is just fine with me.

Any chance we can play it at the end of the season?

As for the Buffs..... why not? Two automatic wins and I can see the Huskers without traveling.

Very good.

I grew up despising OU. And now, my old competitiveness has mellowed and I generally root for them.

Would love to see a longer contract, but I understand the realities of that proposition.
My thoughts exactly.

9 years in the future? Geez la weez. Most middle aged or younger OU fans (a majority) thinks Nebraska was a regular team like Syracuse Orange, Wake Forest Demons, Nevada Wolfpack, etc. Probably half the people never heard of "Game of the Century"

Resurrect Rival? ...... nah........keep in mind, 9 years in the future

First meeting in 2021? An 18 year old kid born in 2003 would have been alive for 6 meetings between the two teams, with the last one coming when they were 7 years old. This rivalry will mean a lot to the players.

We so need a sarcasm tag on the board.
