OT Aaron Cochran [Cal Commit]

I think Bo is desperate for D-line talent and would give anyone with size a shot. If this kid is really strong as well as big it might just work out with him as NT.

 
I'd like to see this kid pass block a little. Seems every play was straight ahead blocking. Would also like to see him pull to see his agility. It also seemed like they rarely ran to his side. Dunno! Maybe he is being recruited for DT. I wonder if he will have some weight issues. He doesn't look like he has difficulty carrying 350. Interesting prospect.

 
Man would love to see this kid, of course I think the photo shows why it has to be so tough to evaluate these guys, they man handle the boys they play against but I guess they see 'em against other studs at camps and they can look at other stats like speed and what they can bench.

The video doesn't offer much more than straight ahead blocking! Don't know what to think based on the video other than he is huge and has decent straight line speed for his size. Can't teach size I guess so lets get him!
 
No way this kid plays DT. Also, DT is a need, but it's not nearly as big a need as OT.

If he is anything, anything over 6'5, he will NOT be playing DT. Name one good DT who was over 6'4, 6'5??? It's all about leverage! Now, 6'7-8, great for OT!!! He'd have that long wingspan and reach, but that means nothing if he doesn't have good feet!!
