@Stumpy1, you think that this recruit is probably a long shot, thus the offer to this other recruit (Winkel) we were talking about?  I'd like to see some bigger fish like this guy who might be able to step in verses being projects (ya, my view on Winkel  is he is a project).  FYI, I do realize that we might need to go the project route.  Heck, we have to really develop a whole OL system to create a pipeline.

This kid is someone that we really do need and should go after.  

I dont think the Winkel offer is a bad one.  To me, he looks like a skinny 280 and has room to put on good weight.  I do like his run blocking but his pass blocking needs help.  At times, he almost looks clumsy while pass blocking. 

 
This is a guy you put the full court press on if we have a shot.  Would be a great addition, especially at a position where we can’t seem to recruit our way out of a brown paper bag
