Right? I was looking at the average NIL on On3.. how is it so low? There’s no reason we shouldn’t be competing with the other blue bloods.Archy1221 said:Can’t they find an extra couple hundred grand in NIL for this one quickly. Seems like money well spent
Trying to buy recruits only works if they think they can still get where they want to go. Nebraska hasn't been successful enough at winning or even putting kids in the league. Until that changes the NIL probably won't be a deciding factor for high level kids.Right? I was looking at the average NIL on On3.. how is it so low? Partially true. It’s somewhat of a chicken or the egg situation. We have to get the stars on campus.. and you’re fooling yourself if you think that $ is not a large factor in that.Trying to buy recruits only works if they think they can still get where they want to go. The schtick of On3 is to be clickbait. Those are just made up numbers per some On3 algorithm. Don't really have any basis in reality as to what these guys are getting paid.

Mater Dei is a great program. The interest was legit enough to be top 5. But it was never going to happen. We don’t land these type of guys. At least not yet. Need a solid year or two before. And even then..Personally I’m just glad we are done with the what if scenarios between Baker/Brix.It wasn't a waste of time at all. He had legit interest in us and we DO have our foot in the door at Mater Dei.
If only the coaches new thisWe need to prioritize Qb and both sides of the lines our recruiting has been sub par for a long time and it shows
