Not sure on specifics, seems like a flaw in the structure. Would hope the NCAA would grant the waiver....but it's the NCAA.

They can take OVs from April 1 through the end of June.  But then there is a break until the recruit's first day of school his senior year.  Their school doesn't start until Sept. 4.

There must be a strong secretary's union which lobbies the NCAA for all of these nebulous dates relating to recruiting as properly docketing them all correctly is quite essential and justifies their job within the athletic department!

This should be changed to the start of the college football season.  Everyone would be on the same schedule instead of depending on when their school starts.
