Be good at Guard.
He doesn't look even close to 6-9 to me. But if he is, not necessarily. He doesn't seem to quite have what I like to see in OTs in movement, etc. But he plays with good low pad level and is a grader type of blocker. Just see him at Guard.6-9 is a bit tall for OG, isn't it?
He's all of 6'8 according to those who've seen him in the last 2 months. He doesn't look even close to 6-9 to me. But if he is, not necessarily. I saw a pic a few weeks ago where he and Brant Banks were standing in close proximity to each other. Banks is listed at 6'7 and 250 and that is probably close. In another pic Banks was standing beside Frost at the trophy case and he was at least 4 inches taller than Scott. Benhart looked several inches taller than Banks. Banks even commented that he rarely has to look up to anyone but he did to Benhart. He doesn't look even close to 6-9 to me. But if he is, not necessarily. This guy is a must get. Gotta have him be :bigredn: .His main factor is playing early, so yeah we can accommodate that.
It has been said that we have to do things the old way so even if he commits here, he won't help us for 2-3 yearsHopefully he has watched our offensive line this year....we need O lineman in the worst way possible
Yep. That is more than likely the case.It has been said that we have to do things the old way so even if he commits here, he won't help us for 2-3 years
If he commits here, I bet he plays as a true freshman.Yep. That is more than likely the case.
If he commits and is an EE then maybe. Still a lot to ask of a kid to start as a true freshmen on the OL. I could see Farniok moving inside and Bryce playing RT. We will see how his recruitment plays out and how our OL develop as the season progresses. If he commits here, I bet he plays as a true freshman.
