He is a REALLY good run blocker. Sometimes the numbers don't always tell the story. Milroe wasn't a get the ball and get it out quick type of QB. He held onto the ball a lot. He scrambled a lot. That can make life hell for a tackle. Especially if the QB is rolling out and constantly on the move. I think Dana and Dylan's style will help him a lot. That and hopefully some improved technique in pass pro.

Not to downplay a great performance, but Wisconsin's pass rush was also really terrible. They only had 17 sacks all year.

I don't know there was a ton of difference throughout the year.  The only thing you could maybe look it would be to throw out the Oklahoma game - when apparently their entire team was terrible.  He allowed 5 pressures, 3 hurries, 1 hit and 1 sack in that game.  If you throw that out, he only allowed 9 pressures, 6 hurries, 2 hits and 2 sacks in the (other) last five games of the year.  Still not great but definitely an improvement over the year as a whole.

Sounds like he had some trouble getting set up correctly in pass pro.  He had the most trouble when he set up too deep and speed rushers got around him before he could get his hands on them.  Also had trouble not getting a good base so he would get off balance.  But it does sound like he was pretty solid when he did get his technique in line.  So hopefully that is something that can be coached up.

He apparently changed positions and got a lot better later during the season. And he was a five-star prospect.

I'm not pointing this out to be critical of the pickup, but on the play you referenced he got beat inside on a zone play and the RB cut it back.

That's certainly one way to view that play...... the lineman was lined up to his inside. At no point in that play was he beat. He then drove him down the line about five yards.
