We dont HAVE to get kids like this to not get pushed around by Iowa. We got pushed around by a bunch of 2 and 3 star kids. We need to get tougher on both sides of the ball. Getting guys like Sarrell would make it easier to get to that point of pushing people around but we need to forge an identity and recruit to it.
And that hasn't happened in the past 15 years, so when is that going to change? I agree we need to coach these kids up better, but we have to get some big ugly's in the trenches and start owning people again.

We have also had 4 different Offensive schemes in that time. 1st WCO, then Wats Coast offense, then Spread option, then back to WCO/Spread. Hard to develop OL when the guys you brought in for 1 type of system are playing in different system.

Visited USC last weekend. Visiting Washington next weekend and Stanford in January.

Notre Dame, Stanford, USC and Nebraska will have in-home visits this week. Washington, Notre Dame, USC and Stanford will be in-home next week.

We better get in home as much as or more than the other schools. If ND, USC, and Stanford are doing it twice we need to at least match them.

I'm pretty comfortable with the amount of attention he's had in the last four years from Riley and Cav since he was a Freshman in high school. The fact that we're even still in the running is really telling.

This will be a classic case of finding out how important relationships in recruiting are for coaches/players.

This has got to be perhaps one of the strongest relationships our coaches have ever had with a recruit. (Starting recruiting just down the road when he was a Freshman.)

That is an extremely long time. I would call this perhaps one of the most excellent recruiting jobs in all of college football history if Coach Cav is able to get this done.
