Clemson is looking to dominate the ACC for years.  The SEC and BIG are better top to bottom but Clemson is likely a playoff team for the foreseeable future.

Agree. They have all the logistical and financial advantages of an SEC school, but they are in a conference with a lot of non-football schools with their two main counterparts(Miami and FSU) in major flux. 

 
By the way, the above notes from Pick Six Previews corroborate my theory that more on-field success leads to better recruiting, not the other way around.

You have to be able to out-perform your recruiting to get to the next level.  Then, you out-perform that level of recruiting to get to the next level.
