Other teams proud of their fans..

Yanno how we as husker fans are proud of being nice to opponents and stuff like that? well get this.. KU fans are PROUD of being a$$hole$ to opposing fans and players.. i was sitting by 2 KU fans and they were talking about the KSU game and how they chanted "K-STATE SUCKS, K-STATE SUCKS!" and i said, "do you ever stop to think of KSU fans feelings who hear that? I mean, think about it.. what if you were them?" they said "who cares? its KSU fans"

I dont know, just seems wrong to me.. i was tought to treat others how you want to be treated..

On a brighter note... Did anyone see that look on Hawkins face in the first quarter i think after we scored.. cant remember exactly what happend, but it was PRICELESS!

thats not alot different than the classy neighbors to the west :sarcasm , colorado. one of my co-workers was bragging about one of their crowd chants that says "F*ck" this and that.

 
I have always heard that Colorado has the worst fans; but, I did go to the Texas Tech Game a couple of years ago when we got our A** Spanked and I can tell you that TT has the worst fans in all the nation.

You talk about Kansas Fans yelling S***; well I can tell you that TT Fans do much more than just yell.

 
If I was a player, I would want my fans to create a hostile environment. I would want my opponent to HATE to have to play in my house.

 
I dont think anything comes close to beating sCUm fans talking about bringing piss balloons to the game....With that being said, KU fans are morons also. They claimed that we sucked even after beating them.

I am not going to say we don't have our share of idiots, every team does. We seem to have less and not as rude.

i agree with this sentiment here. but only b/c KSU fans are even worse.

yet CU's fans were still a$%holes even when they had decent teams

absolutely. but i think something that makes Husker fans unique is the pride we take in our tradition and reputation as classy fans.

 
There are not a lot of programs that have good fans, thats why we are one of the few. Everybody knows it, even the media knows it. I wouldn't worry about it.

Boy I'll say. I remember when, long ago, some enterprising youth did some hurculean work in the card section, which was then in student section of the East Stands, and the sign that came up said "Screw Missou"

So, while I tend to agree that the NU fans are by and large great sports, there have been moments.!
