OU Shocked by TCU

I sure as all hell am glad that the option doesnt work in college football anymore :wtf

I guess 300 yds in the WCO and 5 turnovers against a lower teir 1AA team is way better than beating a top 10 team on the road. :wacko:

A whopping 34 yards! Oh and thier QB had a stellar 11 yards on 10 carries! WOW and to think our program was doing so well with Frankie! :sarcasm

easy guys its just the first game. a lot of teams struggled today. lets hope they work out some kinks this week. we still won the game but it obviously showed our offense that they need to step it up.

 
One thing to stay positive about as we ramble on about how bad we were-when was the last time NU had a better record than OU? Been to long for my liking! GBR! :cheers

 
It's a new year for the Sooners.  TCU 17 OU 10Watched some of the game and its no fluke.

* First loss in Sept for Bob Stoops

* Adrian Peterson: 22 carries, 63 yrs and a hurt ankle

* QB's Thompson & Bomer combine for 0 TD's and 1 Int

* TCU outrushed / outpassed OU

TCU would have shut out NU today. So would a lot of other teams.

NU couldn't run the ball against FREAKING MAINE.

We will see just how good ole Stoops is this year. If you ask me they will lose at 2 more games. If they don't figure out the QB spot it could be more.

 
It's only the first game, but they better find someone else besides Peterson. He cant handle that pounding every game. He only had one game last year when he didn't clear 100 yards (Nebraska) and he had around 25 carries and only 60 or so yards, plus went down twice with bumps.

 
That is why Adrian Peterson wont win the heisman IMO-he has no or very little supporting cast this year and teams are going to be able to key on him....that is if he is healthy with his ankle now.

 
Why are we so worried about OU. Is this sooner board or what . NU has its own issues right now.
