Maybe the lack of you guys is why out here is so great.
Colorado is west of Omaha.
Central and Western Nebraska has great scenery, and some nice things, but I would go nuts living in a smaller town/city. My in-laws live in Hastings, and that is way too small for my taste. But, to each their own.Maybe the lack of you guys is why out here is so great.

and I think I spent the night in Holdrege for a wedding once.
Western Nebraska is no different than a lot of rural areas
I'm in the same boat. There are some fantastic places to eat west of Lincoln and I've been to a couple of them. But, there's very little reason (if any) for me to leave Omaha. And there really isn't a lot of incentive to do so if you're from Omaha (outside of a Husker game). Hell, I haven't even been to several places here where people love to eat.It is?
Was making my statement based off growing up in Omaha.

That tweet might be the dumbest take ever. McDonald's, Popeyes, etc. etc. etc. should all be booted LONG before Canes.Well, didn't take long to see exactly where this Twitter thread was going to go...

If you ever travel Hwy 2 again, stop in Halsey at the Double T Bar...Best cheeseburgers I have ever had.Not familiar with those.
Rustic Tavern in Mullen is pretty good and not well known.
