The blind side was bad. Michael oher was not mentally challenged, his coach was hugh freeze not some idiot, Sandra bullock coached him up lol!
"Found footage" movies all started because of Blair.I don't see how. I remember watching this movie at a friend's house when I was in high school, and it was so dumb/annoying we didn't finish it.

Eyes Wide Shut is literally the only movie I’ve ever walked out of the movie theater on before finishing the movie. Complete piece of trash. The next one I almost did was just recently and was very disappointing cause I really looked forward to it……28Years Later. I mean, how can you ruin a movie that bad that seems so easy to make at least decent at a bare minimum.I think when people say that, they're talking more about the production than the actual film itself.
Hollywood had become a stagnant uninspired dinosaur of bloat to some degree in the 90's. Then '99 came around, and the big studios all happened to find themselves in a position to open up the piggybanks on young and unestablished and/or auteur type directors, which we hadn't seen since before Spielberg did JAWS and crystalised the notion of the 'summer blockbuster'.
The Matrix, Fight Club, Blair Witch Project, American Beauty, Eyes Wide Shut, Office Space, Magnolia and others showed production studios that they could still make great ROI with riskier smaller budget investments. It was also a really hyper focused moment of art reflecting life, with the comfort and stability of the 90s eventually turning into a dissatisfying malaise that we saw a lot of art exploring at the same time.
Eyes Wide Shut is one of those movies where movie buffs pretend like only they can understand but in reality it is just kind of a lame movie with a big star.Eyes Wide Shut is literally the only movie I’ve ever walked out of the movie theater on before finishing the movie.
