Parents

This should be in the Volleyball forum. Coop is royalty in these parts.

Screw those parents. They are hurting their kid by trying to force a coach to play the kid instead of making them earn court time.

 
The stories I could tell!

(One story involves threat of a lawsuit if a certain player did not start playing more, one involves an a$$h@!e parent calling and letting the coach know that one of the team captains should not be a captain because the captain f#&%ed their kids boo)

So many parents are a$$h@!es.  We (coaches, even bad ones like me) don't need parents help on who will play and who won't play...I don't need your input on who should be captain or what position your kid should play.

I actually thought long and hard about where to put it. I figured I'd put it here because the issue with parents is not just a Vball thing.  Those parents should be thrilled to have Coop as a coach at their school.  Instead, they are idiots.

Yeah, no worries about the location. I'm just happy to have her as an alum.

There are half a dozen schools telling Coop that they need a VB coach with integrity and to contact them replying to that tweet.
