Pelini and the Coaches

I would give them a B since they lost some games they could have won and were blown out by two teams. Over all the defense got better all year and that all you could ask for from them.

Would save the A's for when every Nebraksa is competitive in every game. chuckleshuffle

As all of you know I was not a big supporter of Bo. But when you are wrong you need to admit it.

He is a much better coach than I thought. And a much better person, and that is what I am happiest about.

We have the right man, and with Coach Osborne helping him we will have a true winning team back in a short period.

His game time adjustments were tremendous. This was a team that should have beaten Nebraska. This was a team that had the speed to embarass us. They had the intensity to play a great game. But our real advantage was Bo. He kept his cool, and guided us to victory.

I am very impressed with him and to some of you that saw it long before I did. You guys had faith that I did not have in Coach Pelini. You saw where we were heading and I am glad you stood the course.

I did not get to see the whole game, but I watched the phone and the scoreboard.

And to the Clemson fans that have been so courteous and kind on our board. Thank you for your information on your team and your kind remarks in a loss. I will follow your team much closer now.

I am glad Nebraska has returned form the dungeon of college football. Have a great weekend, and cheer on these Utes!!!!!!!!
Maybe I'm old fashioned, or bad at math, but I'd consider going 9-4 a true winning team.

I think 7-8 regular season wins was the upper limit for what we could reasonably expect from the squad we have and the first year for a new staff. The 1st half of the season was a bit rocky, but there was marked improvement as the season wore on.

This shows me that this is a staff that is interested in improving the team and will make the necessary changes and adjustments to do so. Watson seems a little slow at times to stop doing things that don't work, but in the end he does make adjustments and I've been pleased with him. The defense has been turned from a bunch of scrubs into something respectable. The secondary is still a little weak, but the line I think is pretty good.

So yea, we got blown out by Oklahoma and Missouri, but I'm pretty sure we all saw that coming anyway. I thought we should have been more competitive with Missouri, but whatever.

So yea, keeping the reasonable upper limit goals in mind, Bo and the rest of the staff have delivered. I can't wait for next season.

very glad you stuck around skersfan. Apologies for any smug comments I may have made a year or so ago. Sorry I didn't make your tailgate, hopefully if your back next year we can organize some sort of board get-together.

Where are those people that were calling for heads after 3 games? Sure is silent in that part of the Nation now...

The coaches did an excellent job. BC could have been here 10 years and would never have brought this team this far, and he would have only alienated the players and the fans even more.

IMHO Bo accomplished Restoring the Order...and we are headed in the right direction. Next year will be challenging, with a new QB, but I have faith...more faith than I had even before this season.
