Last year's first round of the NFL draft was 80-90% comprised of 4* or better. Carriker and Gaines Adams were 2 of the guys that came from the lower recruiting ranks. Adams was a 1 * TE prospect by one service out of high school.

 
I don't know if you can build a championship team out of 3 star players only. Obviously we have some pretty decent talent here now and next recruiting class will be better, but if we got only 3 star players with this class I think we could do pretty well. It just all depends on what type of coach Pelini really is.
