Did some checking on the NCAA's site and NU is ranked 115th in Fewest Penalties. We have 46 penalties thru 5 games for 374 yds averaging 9.20 yds per penalty or 74.80 per game. MU is the least penalized team in the nation with 15 penalties thru 5 games.

We're not gonna win games that way no matter how well the players execute or Pelini's game plan is.

Yea the Missouri game we had 14 they had 1 penalty

I would expect a very penalized game this Saturday against Texas Tech. Tech and NU are last (or first...depending on how you look at it) in the Big 12 for penalties. Tech has the slight edge over NU with more penalized yards than NU but both teams have committed 46 penalties this season so far.
