Anyone else want to root for PSU to win this game? If Bama can lose and the Huskers pick up a win today we will move up the rankings :bigredn:

Before last year, I vehemently said I'd never root for that team. But, they've been down so they're easier to live with these days and I will absolutely root for them now.

 
No, for recruiting purposes only. I'd hate for a certain stud QB recruit to get overly caught up in the moment. For some reason high school kids remember that stuff.

One can root all they want but really this game is going as expected.

 
Just don't see enough speed in PSU to put pressure on Bama. I think if their QB play was better, it'd be closer, imo

 
This game was a lot closer than the score makes it out to be. That fumble killed PSU's scoring chance as well as gave 'Bama a short field. I also don't think they got that fake punt.

 
At the rate they're throwing, Bolden and McGloin may throw 8 picks against NU. They refuse to seperate from each other and say I am going to be the starting QB.

 
They've had little success stretching the field on Bama, because of this I feel that the Tide is jumping all over anything 15 yards in. Also, no the turnovers aren't helping. Crewe I hear you about a certain recruit.

Yeah in the first quarter. After that game was over. PSU's been sliding the last couple of years. They need new blood or continue to get whooped by top teams. Be different if it was close.

Longer than that, but the QB was making some absolutely horrible passing decisions

Penn State could play Bama 10 times. And Joe Pa wouldn't know who won any of them. (That would be Bama)

My thoughts exactly....after the way NU was treated in '01 (I think) I would have said the same thing, but I'm coming around. Penn ST. needed to play very well to beat Ala. They just didn't get that on Saturday.

 
I watched most of this game, and honestly, not once did I think it was closer then it looked. Frankly to me it looked quite a bit more like a two score lead for Bama was the same as if they went in there and hung 50 on em. PSU wasn't ever gonna catch up.

 
Joe Pa looks like he staring off into never never land from the camera shots of him. He just looks empty inside. My Dad had that same look when his mind was failing in his late 70's.
