You are too hung up on NIL. Some top 25 NIL programs are struggling. Also head coaches play a major role in influencing donors for NIL funds. So if Nebraska does not have sufficient NIL funds, that also falls partially on Rhule.
 
It would take Saban right now. You surely can see that ESPN is running college football right now. They endorse who is going to win the Heisman, they push for who they want in the playoffs. They own the rights to the SEC conference in all sports. SEC schools have weekly programming on every football team and coach. Who can compete with that right now? Big 10 is the only one close, but they don't get that kind of pub to there programs. Like I said, Texas and OU leaving the Big 12 has propelled college sports in the wrong direction.

Yeah, the NIL thing goes back to "some programs have an advantage we can't overcome". Tell that to Devaney and Osborne. Coaching can overcome so-called "handicaps". It's been proven here and elsewhere.
 
i learned that if we are looking for new line coaches and maybe strength and conditioning coaches.....maybe we should make an offer to those coaches from penn state.

Yep we have some who can find no fault in this staff. Rhule is making tens of millions yet some defend him no matter the situation.

Rhule has made several comments about getting enough NIL to compete for top players, which they have not had in the past!

TV & Social media has changed college sports. Those coaches got the best players as they wanted to be seen on TV. Today, almost any player can be seen on TV or computer no matter the team. There was also no rating service, which helps today's coach recruit outside of there region.
