Personal day or not?

At every interview I've ever had, I have always made the statement "I do not work on any day the Nebraska Cornhuskers are playing, Saturdays, Thursdays, any day. If this is a problem, this job will not work out". I don't miss games and havent in 27 yrs.

:bonez :bonez :bonez :bonez

Well now I just got mandatoried to work on one of my days off this next week so that sick day may just f'ing happen!!!! :madash

I took all my 3 personal days of the year on Sept. 1st, 8th, and 15th. Ya you should take one!!!

I work in law enforcement, and one thing I know is that if you call in sick or go home sick on a Husker gameday, your chances of a 'random' drug and alcohol check the next day increase dramatically. Yes, even on a Sunday. For some reason, they tend to be skeptical of Gameday illnesses ;)

Another benefit to being a fireman, I'll just park my a$$ in my recliner and watch the game while being paid.

Atleast until some moron becomes a statistic

Well its a done deal. Just made it offical to use one of my personal days. Now its time to go pick up supplies for tomorrows game.
