Pertineer need a "Weather section" on this site

Not sure about the rest of the country, but the severe weather in Oklahoma was much ado about nothing. It hit our house just after 10pm and within a couple of minutes, literally, it was gone! These things moved real quick. A couple of wall clouds but I don't think any twisters touched down. The good thing about all this is the wind is gone!

I hate the weather guys saying south of Hastings, and I think Hastings, NE where I have family but it is Hastings, IA. When are they going to make a law to only have one city name per nation. There are 9 Omahas in the country, it is kind of annoying. Anyways hope you are all safe, and hope you stay safe.

We had more severe storms last night than the weatherman thought. He said at 6:00pm last night he didn't think these storms would produce tornadoes. Then at 10:00 he basically said the same thing, but wouldn't you know it at 10:30 a tornado touched down in Waukee just west of the city of Des Moines and then another one touched down in Osceola about an hour south of Des Moines. We got a ton of rain and we don't need it! It's rained everyday for the last week and a half and it's going to rain for the next week. We had bad floods here in 1993 and they are saying the weather patterns look the same as back then. So much for the 100 year floods!
