PGA Tour 2025

American fans are being an embarrassment.

There was a bunch of idiocy directed at Rory (and probably some others as well). That's pretty disappointing, if unsurprising.

I got to go Saturday and Sunday. Sunday was a crazy atmosphere. If Henley makes either of the putts on 17 or 18, it would have been bonkers down the stretch.

Met several cool people who came over from Europe. Only disappointing thing was a guy from London when we found out that it was going to take me longer to get home than it was going to take him.

I think everyone understands an amped up ruckus crowd. But, there is no reason to get personal about it. And it sounds like the organizers were promoting some of it.

Disappointing.

I don't watch golf but still find it disappointing that the crowd had a few fanatics getting loud & rowdy. Golf tournament attendees used to adhere to a respectful tradition of silently watching.

That's probably a bit of an exaggeration. But most tournaments still are. The Ryder Cup is a totally different atmosphere, and that's part of what makes it so fun. But there were way to many that went over the line this year (and other recent Cups).
