:lol: Thats a slap in the face...you have to wonder what goes through his mind when he sees thst kind of stuff.

 
I've been wondering lately if we'll care as much when he approaches Hank. I think becuase the babe was such a historical and recognizable figure in his sport that has since only been matched by MJ, we might not be as bad when he approaches HANK.

Either way, I'll be disopointed, baseball being my favorite sport, and seeing a couple of heros fall to a guy who sticks himself with a needle everyday is a shame.

I'll actually care more when he gets close to Hank. At least in my house that name is almost holy.

 
Does anyone know that if it is found out that he lied under oath and is found to have used steroids can they take his spot away on the homerun leader list??? It would be a good idea IMO.

I'm not certain, but I don't think so. Maris' astrisk was due to the fact the MLB can control stats - and they "awarded" the astrisk on the basis that Maris hit 61 while playing more games than Ruth in that season.

Where it becomes a problem is that MLB would have to determine which homers were hit while Bonds was taking 'roids - and even then I don't think they can do anything under the collective bargining agreement.

 
We can only hope they found out he lied and suspend him and end his career before he hits many more home runs.

 
Actually it was reported that the biggest "boo's" were given to someone wearin' a dallas cowboys T.O. jersey.
