Philosophy has changed

When it comes to getting off this plateau we've been on I'll believe it when I see it. That said, the team has potential to make waves. Should have our best D since we came to the con. O will have lots of firepower. Big thing is how our new starters at OT come along and whether we can ever get over the turnover issues. We obviously need to create more on D and cut them way down on O. No coincidence that our biggest win of the year came in the one game we actually won the turnover battle.

 
Agree with Danimal. Team has potential. Most definitely. And the recruiting class seems to have addressed a lot of need areas. However, until all that starts becoming actualized with results, it's hard to be exceptionally excited. I will always be excited for a new Husker season. But to have that excitement enhanced by the promise of championshps is a bit of a reach right now.
