We can all thank one person for this addition- Steve Peterson. Without him this would not have been accomplished! By the way he did the same for Pittsburg basketball and their other indoor athletics.

What does this commitment say to visting recruits?

 
Hopefully they put in a couple more exits on that side. The North staduim sucks to get out of.

Why, did he pay for it himself? He might have to if the money doesn't start rolling in. Geez, BC gets one big win and suddenly everyone's been assimalated into the Pedersen Borg. You'll never take me, I tells ya.

I'm pretty sure that the athletic department is planning on using the revenue of the additional seats to pay for themselves and some of the other improvements. Sort of a Field of Dreams "If you build it they will come" type of thing.

 
Would this expansion happen with Bill Byrne in charge?

I agree that the way SP got rid of FS was wrong. But I also agree that FS was not the right person for the future of NU football.

The Osborne complex will get NU back into the national elite for facilities, which could sway some recruits to NU instead of else where
