Sounds like someone who went to NOLA and only hit Bourbon then decided its the worst city ever. There is definitely more to Nashville than tourist trap. Next time you go message me I'll shoot you some recommendations.

In all fairness, never been to New York. That said I'm not trying to disparage it either or say Nashville is better in any way shape or form. But I think any city can give you a bad experience or a great one. I've had both in many places I've gone.
What are you talking about? I live in Louisiana and go to Nola all the time. I will go this weekend for the state championship football game and to go on the parade of homes tour, if you must know.

my original point was New York is not as expensive as i thought it would be. I was surprised by this  It was in response to multiple people claiming New York is too expensive.  In comparison Nashville was much more expensive than what I thought it would be. Plus, it is not varied in what it offers and it is very “themed”. If that’s your thing, then great.

If costs are the barrier to going to a bowl game then neither will fit your budget.

Did either of these guys play a key role for them?  Just quickly looking through BC's last two wins, these guys didn't produce any stats according to box scores.
Well Castellanos is their starting QB, a good runner and OK passer. He is a loss for them IMO.

BC fan visiting to check out the discussion. Just to clarify, Castellanos got benched mid-season and quit the team. Our offense has been leaps and bounds better since then. Castellanos was electric as a runner last year but was statistically the worst running QB in the country at the time he got benched.

Looking forward to the game!

It’s not the destination. It’s that I hate seeing the program act like this is an accomplishment. The Pinstripe Bowl is not an accomplishment. It’s for mediocrity. We should feel embarrassed.
I feel embarrassed for our players sometimes that they have to read stuff from some posters.

I looked further back and you’re correct.  But he hasn’t played the past four weeks outside of 7 pass attempts against Syracuse on 11/9.   Did he get hurt or benched?

Not that it matters, NU won’t play him either way.

he was benched after clashing with the coach. Was a bit ugly, Bill O Brien openly said Castellanos wasnt tough

I'm saying if you think Nash is themed then all you did was the themed touristy stuff, akin to going to bourbon street and not seeing the real New Orleans. If you went to NOLA and only hit Bourbon you might have a crap view of NOLA. Also you literally said Nash was MORE expensive than New York. Not just expensive which is flat out untrue. None of it matters but I just think Nashville is a cool spot and not that expensive and don't really understand why it had to catch a stray for you to make your point about New York. I think most sensible people would agree New York is a cooler visit overall budgets aside. Really would love to go and do a bar tour there as I'm big into craft cocktails and New York has some of the best spots for that in the world.

I hadn’t seen that, thanks for the clarity. I watched them several times over the first half of the season and Castellanos looked pretty good IMO, a bit limited but he made plays. BC is pretty scrappy, should be a fun game.
