Playcalling...sucks

and if you say we are improving, then you have to win the games you should......i agree, on a fst track and good weather Texas stomps our a$$.........no contest

 
This thread is worthless!!!!! All it's doing is making us fight amongst ourselves!!!! Everyone get a f'ing grip and realize that we can still win the North and that was the ultimate goal at the beginning of the year!!!! We weren't going to play for a NC we all knew that!!!! Just getting to the Big 12 Championship is an improvement over last year!!!! If we don't go then it will suck..........I'm pissed just like the next guy but give me a break :wacko: :WTH

 
Playcalling was alright. OSU's defense really stepped it up and the offense had nothing to counter. Dropped passes, bad passes, miscommunications. Rough day for sure.

Yeah that play where Bjax looked like he went the wrong way really hurt us. Taylor ended up running for 2 and we needed 4. Looked like we had good blocking set up too.

I think that the expectations of this team are very high. They played a bad game. We have played several good ones . We all just need to calm down and try not to bicker.

 
Our secondary is a complete joke! Our CB's were getting pushed around like school girls when the WR's were run blocking. It looked like to me that Nebraska gave up!

 
the kansas state wildcats under first year head coach ron prince beat osu...but big red (under 3rd year coach bc) not only loses, but gets waxed? doesnt add up. and how is it still solich's lack of recruiting thats contributed to this defensive inconsistency? this is bc and cosgroves 3rd year... and the last year that solich was coaching if i remember right...they had a decent defensive under pelini that at least didnt get lit up by teams like osu and kansas (albeit they did get lit up by the power houses)

Our defense isn't that bad, they just played pretty bad today. I'll keep saying it as long as I have to...we're not a very good road team. And the reason for that is we're just not to the level yet where we can play consistently at the level needed to beat good teams. Despite what anyone would like to believe, Okie State is a good team who can play with anyone if they put it together like they did today.

We need another couple years of recruiting to get the players in the positions they need to be in. We're still working with pieces of Solich's recruiting failures. Just like Okie State, when we play up to our potential, we can play with nearly anyone (as we showed with Texas). On the road it's been very hard for us to do that, and we just lost it totally today.

It wasn't just the play calling, which wasn't as terrible as everyone is whining about anyway.

For the most part...Agree with all that EbylHusker has to say. One point of disagreement....despite how we looked against Texas on D....we are not a good defensive team. Part of the problem is injuries, part is talent...most is of the problem is Cosgoves predictable schemes.

 
Well hopefully we can get our defense back on track for next weeks game!!!! We are going to need to be firing on all cylinders to take the North!!!! ;)

Next time, you can actually watch the game online and all the other games for the week for $21.99 with the ESPN Gameplan. I used it multiple time this season and never had a problem with it. The gamecast is sh#t. I used it before I realized gameplan was offered online.
