Sounds like both pretty much came down to attitude issues.  Would skip lifting, late to practice, etc.  Then they didn't get to travel, got mad and left.  Apparently really started brewing after the Penn State game.  Everyone was happy after the game except those two who were mad about playing time and Fleming mad he didn't get any targets.

It's amazing to me to see this combination of comments.  But, we see it all over in society.  Players miss lifting and are late to practice....but are mad when they don't play.  Students that don't study then get mad when they flunk out.  Employees who are mad when they don't get the promotion when they don't do what is necessary to get it....etc.

Supposedly Fleming was an electrifying punt returner in practice, but never saw action in that role because he couldn't field them with any semblance of consistency.

I just wish once coaches would tell it like it is....as a teacher and coach myself there are moments I wish I could, but know that it will sell the kid out, not help in the end and make me look like an a$$, . One can wish though  ,
