Frost is breeding insecurity in his players, and delancy was right with his tweet, that more talented players are often on the sideline. Like really, what message are you sending your players when Farmer has two picks in a game barely sees the field, and if he makes a mistake he immediately gets pulled, meanwhile safety play has been meh at best; newsome has looked better than bootle, who was literally dragged on a tackle; payne who looks more competent than both Nelson and tanner, sits on the bench watching them play.
Let's not even talk about offense and all the talent that he is wasting there.
How can Frost expect kids to buy in, with workouts that suck and physical practices, if he's not going to have faith in them and give them their shot. Trust must work both ways. The new guys will of course make mistakes, but so too will the ones "with experience."
Frost's main issue is that he loves this program so much and is so afraid of failure, that he's smothering it's success.
