Players you're most excited for this upcoming year

I'm most excited to see Taylor as well as Herian,Bowman,Nunn,Swift, and Octavian. I can't wait to see what Taylor can do seeing that video of the Alamo Bowl and how he just looked so comfortable and was seeing everything (besides those 2 plays in a row w/ INTs) I just think it would be cool for him to breakout and be a first round NFL QB from Nebraska! Also Bowman has the body and was doing better at the end of the year to be a big time DB with more playing time. Then Nunn, Swift, and Herian as a trio burning defenses for huge plays. Finally, Octavian because he looks like he could be a freak on the field and we haven't seen it yet due to injury. Who can't you wait to see?

 
thenarse..i think he will be a starting safety and all i hear is great things about him and how he loves to hit...but i cant wait to see everyone because this should be a great team

 
I am excited to see our whole LB group...so much talent doesn't allow us to play everyone full time...great bunch in bradley, mckeon, ruud, octavien, brandenburg etc...I look for an exciting year from the defense.

Don't forget Dillard and Moore they both look great but will prolly only see Special Teams

Herian/Tomerlin (they have to produce more than our TEs last year...right)

Lucky/Wilson/Glenn (Alot of talent, one position to fill)

Octavien (Very high hopes)

Finally..... Zac Taylor He may have single handedly delivered us back into national prominence last year, and with a full year's experience behind him, should only get better. Definately the most improved player over the course of the year last year, possibly in the country.

Mr. Sunshine here. I have good feelings(no not those kind) for the whole team. Each unit has the possibility to play great ball. I think the O line will improve and increase their protection schemes, ZT will have more targets to hit and the D will play lights out. Needless to say I feel that way every year at this time. I believe the talent level is climbing back where it had been. I am also looking forward to see who steps up at RB or if a committee will be the normal rotation plan.

I guess my most exciting thoughts are that the team stays healthy. :cheers

 
I'm basically just stoked to see our D play this year. They could/should be top 10 in the nation in just about every way. The improved O-Line will also be fun to watch, I'm looking forward to a Zac Taylor show now that he has a little more protection. Should be a great year, we have many oportunities with the teams we play, I hope we can make a statement.

 
Im looking foward to the Oline seeing how they played

in the second half of last year. And the running back position

who will step up and take the starting spot.

 
Im looking forward to a consistant offense where we can move the ball down the field by either the running game or the passing game. I am also excited about our defense where I think we will be more likely to have more three and outs than a bend but don't break philosophy like last year.

 
Actually I'm excited for the coaches. This year they have things in place to make a good run to represent the North at the Big XII championship game. The came off a roller coaster season and now some skeptics are starting to believe (gasp!). We have rescued a couple of coaches from behind enemy lines. You can see the impact of Gilmore's work as our WR's became more consistent in the last half of the season. Im looking forward to seeing what Coach Watson can do without all the negative stigma that was constantly surrounding him at CU.

 
On offense, I am excited to see how an experienced Taylor plays and on defense, I am excited to see what Octavien can do the next couple of years.
