Just cause I am bored I paired the past BCS rankings 1-4 with future playoff sites. I think there's going to be some issues with sites that may have to be re considered in the future. My understanding is they will give preference to the #1 team only on the location.
2013 (using 2014)
# 1 FSU vs #4 MSU at Sugar Bowl
#2 Auburn vs #3 Alabama at Rose Bowl - odd location for these teams and could be attendance issues.
2012 (using 2015 sites)
#1 ND vs #4 Oregon at Cotton Bowl (assumed this is better for ND)
#2 Alabama vs #3 Florida at Orange Bowl (UF gets advantage?)
2011 (using 2016 sites)
#1 LSU vs #4 Stanford at Peach Bowl Atlanta
# 2 Alabama vs #3 Okie State at Fiesta Bowl
2010 (using 2017 sites)
#1 Auburn vs #4 Stanford at Sugar Bowl
#2 Oregon vs #3 TCU at Rose Bowl
2009 (using 2018 sites)
#1 Alabama vs #4 Cincy at Cotton
#2 Texas vs #3 TCU at Orange
Actually these played out decently. One question I have is in 2009 would Alabama get to decide location or would the committee. Would they put Alabama in Dallas or put a Texas vs TCU in Dallas?
