Please play Ricky Thenarse! We won't have a shot unless someone is in there atleast some of the time with Grixby. You think we could spend a few minutes a day and just put Thenarse up against Maurice Purify everyday until Jan. 1st and he may get better, although I feel he can't be much worse than Grixby. I'm sorry but Courtney please stick to just punt returning (and don't fumble)

Also people who want to talk about Grixbys 40" vertical... it does nothing for you when you are never in posistion to make a play.

And what's with the :asshat in the 1st picture with the Texas gear on.

We are alright at the Safety spot, not to mention much like Grixby he doesnt have the size. He is still a great player and has a very important impact on the team. I'm proud Grixby is a husker, the same with with Rigoni, but Grixby has had his shot at DB for 2 years and it just isn't working out I think it's about time he finds a new role and get commited to that and let someone else have a shot.

 
Their first season is over. When are they going to be let loose on the field? We got Auburn then early on next season we have Wake Forest and USC. The way things are going they won't see any real action until they are juniors.

Are you kidding me we are not alright at the safety spot. Shanle dont get me started and Green couldnt

even cover a tight end on that 3rd down play from the one.

 
I say give those guys a shot!!!! What the hell..............it couldn't be any worse IMO!!! Thernarse and Culbert like to hit people and that's what we need!!! We also need some guys who will react to the QB and not wait for the receiver to catch the ball before he decides "Oh hell I better tackle this guy!!!!" Love Courtney as a person and I'm glad he's part of the Huskers.....just don't like him as a DB.

Give anyone else a shot!! We can't do any worse!!!! I try to remember that I am only a fan not a coach and its easy to be a Sunday morning QB...but holy crap.....why will they not play these guys?

Grixby has to go to the bench! He is horrible he makes all recievers look like All Americans! Has he succesffully defended a pass this year?

I am sure they bought their tickets before Texas choked their last two games....

It would be nice for Thenarse or Culbert to get in there and actully hit someone!!! Maybe with the break here, they can evaluate the situation and get these kids on the field more.

 
Grixby will play, unless he's injured.

I think Culbert got a few snaps on Saturday, but not sure how many.

 
No matter who they put in, the dbacks will face guard. They're obviously coached to do that-- obvious because they *all* do it and get burned. You can't take advantage of a 40" vert if you can't jump until the receiver does. He's always going to be one beat behind. It's horrible to watch.

 
Talked to a guy at the game and he said something to the effect of us running zone coverage in the 3rd with much better results. Any thoughts?
