Hope he can return home and recover closer to family and friends. I hope that he gets all the support he needs, and please keep posting information when you get it.

 
This is horrible and I wish him a speedy and complete recovery. The initiation of violence is a horrendous act and should not be tolerated by anyone, no matter who is on the receiving end of it. (...unless of course it's the Missouri Tigers :sarcasm )

The break was alot cleaner than they orginally thought so they didn't have to put plates in there just screws to get things back together. He comes back to Des Moines on Friday and several agencies are going to give him a police escort back home. :thumbs

Probably at least 6 months, if he can get back.

Thanks so much for the update...glad his surgery went ok. Thank you so very much for all the hard work you police officers do for us..you put your life in danger so we can be safe..thank you so very much:)
