Political DBag Hall of Fame

I don't think Guy's comments (which started yesterday) come anywhere near the vicinity of flaming/trolling. Seems like casual but insightful observations into something people have been curious about (attacking the post, or content, rather than the poster, as the board suggestion goes), met with mischaracterizations of being infatuated, complaining and being a child.

It feels like an incredible non-issue to me, even more so with them (rightfully imo) being public, but to whatever extent there is a sensitive issue, I'd say Exhibit A is the disingenuous anonymous reactions themselves.
I disagree - I have absolutely zero interest in watching any of you get fussed and picked fights over who is +1'ing your posts, who is laughing at your posts, etc.

If you guys want to argue about it in the Woodshed, that's fair game, but if I see it in the public forums then it's going to be a problem.

Well, they've been public for 24 hours and you already kicked off a dust-up about reactions in P&R. And that was after it looks like you read my message asking not to do that. So, that's basically Exhibit A for why it's a sensitive issue with low trust.

You and Archy seem to be interpreting these rather calm and amused reactions as dust ups, provocations and obsessions.

Maybe we shouldn't look when someone's pants accidentally fall down, but come on......

I politely disagree with your characterization of "getting fussed" and "picking fights" which suggests maybe you have slightly more than zero interest.

If people posted reaction emojis under the promise of anonymity, I understand why some might have a grievance against HuskerBoard today. Part of me wants to respect that. The other part is struggling not to smirk.

At the end of the day, none of us use our real name. But we're still vested in our HuskerBoard character. That's not a bad thing.

Yeah, Archy’s shadow is no longer a secret. Unsurprised.
Correction. I should have said “shadows are”.

Actually it gives me some piece of mind to realize virtually all supporting emojis come from the same 2 or 3 people. And those 2 or 3 people rarely, if ever, offer actual thoughts or their own arguments. So basically just a few chickenshìts stroking one guy that at least has the balls to post his feelings. Yes archy, that was a compliment.

It's a form of brigading, and something I've long openly speculated about. It's interesting to have see proof that I was right, but in the end it doesn't change anything.

It loos as if we have reached peak insanely stupid emoji reaction to where Knapp is claiming coordination amongst posters to manipulate the site.

I would looooooooooove to see his/her proof of coordination for his/her claim here. 🤦

Wait, who is it? I wasn't really aware that people cared all that much about post reactions.

I'll give @Archy1221 this... he does unapologetically post his thoughts. This is both terrifying to me - because he's a fairly median Republican and my goodness - but also admirable.

I'm taking advantage of the changeover to say that as a poster that might have reached 250 posts in about 10 more years I wish the people in the P&R forum could see my reactions. Its the internet, as was mentioned before we are pretty much all anonymous, if you are afraid of someone linking a smiley face to you go live under your parent's rock.

I see zero evidence of collaboration or conspiracy, just the expected people agreeing with each other.

But you gotta admit the one guy who is either too timid to post himself or is in fact the sock puppet you use for masturbation is pretty funny.

Speaking as Well Known Member to mere Member, let me just say you have a lot to learn.
