It all can be true the o-line sucks. The QB isn't good enough or ready to start yet. The weapons were inconsistent. Dana wasn't great. It all is a mess. One thing is for sure we need to bring in a legit QB transfer.

According to DB on broadcast, the playbook also shortened quickly in the second quarter once Utah built a lead and didn’t respect our passing game. Crowded LOS, safeties creeping close to help stirring and daring us to throw and bringing people.

Thats happened a lot this year, even with Raiola. Too many in the box to pass short & not enough time to pass deep.

Plenty of time to throw deep to the outside with one on one coverage when the defense brings 6. Either NU just isn’t run go routes or the QB refuses to throw said go routes and have 50/50 passes.

Every other team in the playoffs has made a living with the deep sideline/back shoulder throw against pressure. Especially Indiana. Because they actually throw it.

Minchey is a risk in that he hasn't started a CFB game, but his film looks pretty good.

Honestly, Minchey is the best they could have hoped for. Talent that has a couple of seasons of college coaching.
