Another thing about Held. JUCO crootin is basically about to die. He got even more irrelevant. Which I think is a good thing for us. This staff was/is terrible with JUCO guys. They don’t pan out a lot anyway but Pelini got some really good guys at a much higher hit rate than Frost.

The portal isn’t going to eliminate non-qualifiers, D1 flame outs, or the guys that jump in the portal and then have nowhere to go but JUCO

Not entirely but now only the best are gonna play high level ball. Could be a good thing for FCS/D2

There’s proven linebackers in the portal, there’s no reason to recruit a project to convert. He’s here for RB.
