Portal Transfer Targets

Nebraska hasn’t wasted any time pursuing former Alabama safety Kaine Williams and will get a chance to host the former four-star recruit later this month. 

Williams announced on social media that he will be visiting Nebraska on May 13-15. 

The 6-foot-2, 205-pound safety originally from Louisiana reported a Nebraska offer in late April shortly after entering the transfer portal. 

 
Also sounds like we are potentially talking to Ryan Keeler. Familiar husker target. IMO if we take him we are down bad.

Wasn’t there a deadline of May 1st for portal players who want to play this year? 
 

Or was that just a deadline to enter the portal?

They were supposed to have their Portal request in by May 1st to be immediately eligible.  But since May 1st was a Sunday, the deadline got moved to today.

But they just have to make the request to the school.  The school then has two days to actually put their information in the Portal.  So it's possible there will still be some names revealed in the next couple of days.

 
I went looking for info on Wynn, and saw a thread about him on a Miami board (as a potential transfer). One guy there said he knows Wynn personally, and said he's lazy/unmotivated, had the talent but didn't wanna put in the work. Just FWIW.
