Positivisms from the 2006-2007 season

You could tell our guys were grasping the offense better. Our running game started to be talked about by people once again and that was nice considering we could break one at any second. Purify was a pleasant surprise.

We should be better at defense next year and our offense should be improved all around.

I'll start.

I liked the resurgence of the running game!!

I am positive that the offensive line will block better

I am positive that the defensive secondary will play better pass defense, especially at CB and SS

I am positive that the Blackshirts will tackle better

But most of all, I am positive that the Coaches will call better play sequences :thumbs

There, whew, I stayed positive.....

Positives for next year:

Offense: 9 months for O-line to hit weight room and continue eating corn fed beef!

Can you say Keller, Purify, Niles Paul, and Lucky on the field at the same time?

This is the first time since the Aman Green era that we actually have more than 2 legitimate offense threats on the field at the same time.

Defense: We will actually have D-backs that can play man to man. Next year we can actually blitz with out our blitz being potentially suicidal. Without D-backs that could play man to man, our blitzes the past 2 years were about as safe as play leapfrog with a unicorn.

I am excited about next year!
